.
Well, I finally did it. I got it together. It was less than a month ago when I confessed to you that I wasn’t sure I was ready to commit again. Then a few weeks ago, I decided it was time. Thankfully with a little coaxing and lots of help, I decided to launch a Video Blog, also known as a “Vlog.” The reason I’m doing a video this time is that having an image of the clothes and outfits that I’m discussing allows you, the audience, to get the impact you would get if you were shopping in your favorite stores.
Just like I did with my Newsletter, I will send out my Video Blog[Vlog], bi-weekly, on a Wednesday. That means every two weeks you’ll receive my Video Blog straight into your inbox. You will have an opportunity to see those special pieces that I used to talk about in my Newsletter, and be able to imagine how they will affect your closet and elevate the image you are setting for yourself. Not to mention imagining how wonderful you’ll feel!**
And, just like my Newsletter, I plan to share with you everything I know and learn about all things style. Only this time, you’ll have lots of visuals that I know will help you hone and take your authentic style to the next level. I’m even going to share where I bought the pieces I am featuring. **So just in case you see an item that has your name on it, you’ll know exactly where to buy it. I’m doing everything I know technologically to make it easy for you. If you see something you just have to have, all you have to do is click on the links I will provide. 🙂
Now…for my first style Video Blog[Vlog]. (Yay!!) I’m so excited to share it with you! Yes, I know It’s Friday. But you’re receiving it this morning instead of Wednesday because I wanted to honor our elections and give everyone a time to wind-down. I will be counting on your help to improve our Vlog so please leave a comment in the “Comment” section and have at it. I and those that this is intended to help will really benefit from your suggestions. Plus you’ll have an opportunity to suggest any stores, clothes or solutions to problems that you may have. In Style Every opinion is important. We all benefit from the conversation. Let’s enjoy the experience.
Now…as promised, for those of you that love what I’m wearing and just have got to have it, here are the links to purchase some of the items. However, don’t wait too long; many of these will sell out! And yes, for those of you wondering, some of the links I’m including are affiliate links, which means that I receive a small commission of sales made via the link.
Links to featured styles:
- Alice & Olivia Addison Cropped Jacket;
- Anthropologie The Essential Trouser(Plaid);
- BCBG Max Azria Gael Ivory Ruffle Sleeve Blouse (I’m wearing this blouse)
- 4 Floral Blouses: To replace my personally owned Jigsaw floral blouse worn in the video. I picked these out specially to go with the Anthropologie’s The Essential Trouser in ivory plaid shown in the video:
Accessorize!!
Did you notice the beautiful jewelry that I featured in the Vlog? I know, I know, they’re hard to miss! If any are a “LOVE,” contact me personally (michellem@michellemoquin.com) and it would be my pleasure to hook you up. Accessories are the key to creating a put-together look!

Now, it’s your turn. I’d love to hear from you. Your insights and inspiration are appreciated so please share your stories in the comments below.
If you have a question also post it in the comment section below. I check it daily. Since the topic is always about fashion or style no question that you ask will be “off Topic.”
That means as far as I’m concerned, when you ask a question that is the topic. Everyone else who’s reading it can follow up on my answer. There will be no questions that you ask that will be too far off topic because your question will be the current topic. So…ask away!
Oh…and your email address is not “required” even though it says so. 🙂 Don’t even ask.
Love,
~Michelle
I love this! I would never have thought to pair those bold patterns together…where do you find those Tory Burch pants ? I may have to look for those!
Yay! Thank you! As you can see I already made a mistake – lol, this has been quite the production- your belts are in the “next” video, so stay tuned! Anyway, thanks for your comments – happy you liked the video and the pairing of the prints. The Tory Burch are seasons old but still a winner. I love them too! xox
So good! I loved it. Super bold and fun looks. Time to dig out those plaids.
Thank you! So delighted you loved the video…more to come! And yes, dig out those plaids and pair them with something bold and unexpected! xox
Awesome michelle! Really enjoyed this and excited to explore plaid! 🙂
Thank you, Rachel! You would look amazing in those ivory plaid pants from Anthro! 🙂
You rock the black & white plaid with your silver hair. Super stylish.
Aww…thank you! They are definitely a fave that I’m happy I kept for so many years.
Ah, amazing! Video really does bring you and your content to life. You are fabulous! And Brava for all the hard work I’m sure it took! ???
Hey, Vivienne! Thank you!! I so appreciate the kudos. Yes, it is hard work but so much fun! I love doing these!
Good for you Michelle!!
Hi, Suzanne, Nice to see you here – thanks for watching and for the kudos!
Congrats, Michelle, this video and the last were really great. I agree that the video format really lends itself to what you do with clients. And you are doing it with high quality production, which really emphasizes the talent and professionalism you bring to your work!
Thank you, Christine! 🙂 They were both a lot of work but I have so much fun doing them. And I agree with you, the video format makes it so easy to explain and show examples, which I love! Thanks for the kind words!
Hi Michelle. Great presentation. Looking forward to following your vlog
Thanks, Jeannette! I’m looking forward to seeing more comments from you. Please let me know how I’m doing and if you want anything address in the videos. I really appreciate the feedback!
So fun! I would NEVER have put a floral with a plaid but it looks so great together! Nice job and I look forward to more 🙂
Laura, I can totally see you in plaid pants and a floral blouse or Tee. You would rock it. Thanks for watching and the feedback. Stay tuned, the next one will post this week! xx
Hi Michelle. Your plaid video inspired me. What do you think of the below?

Yay!! Love these! But as you know I’m not a big fan of the high-contrast black/white on you. Maybe the Tartan you would like just as much? https://www.betabrand.com/collections/limited-edition-dpyp/tartan-boot-cut-dress-pant-yoga-pants I think these colors would suit you better. But since they are bottoms it is better than a top in high contrast. 🙂 Do what you know will go with most of your tops and you love! Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs,
~Michelle
I’m soooo excited to see this. I will most certainly be subscribing.
