ABOUT

Michelle

I don't obsess about fashion. I obsess about how women feel in their clothing. That distinction is at the heart of everything I do. While much of the fashion world focuses on trends, designers, and what's 'in' or 'out,' my focus has always been much more personal.

Style Is Personal

I care about the woman standing in front of me.

How she feels in what she wears. How she sees herself.

How she carries herself.

And whether what she's wearing truly reflects who she is.

Because style is never just about clothing.

It's about self-expression.

Confidence.

Individuality.

And the freedom to feel fully yourself.

THE STORY

A Creative Foundation

Creativity has always been essential to who I am.

Long before I became a personal stylist, I was designing, creating, building, and making things with my hands.

Creativity has always been the thread running through my life—whether through fashion, interiors, art, or simply finding beauty in the everyday.

Clothing became one of my earliest and most meaningful forms of self-expression.

I loved the creativity of it.

The playfulness.

The possibility.

The ability to communicate something without saying a word.

I also became fascinated by something deeper: how differently people responded based on how someone was dressed.

That stayed with me.

Something Was Missing

For more than 35 years, I built a career in the fashion industry as a designer, creating collections for San Francisco Bay Area brands and later designing my own lines. Design gave me an incredible creative outlet.

Then everything changed.

As much as I loved the creative process, designing beautiful clothing no longer felt like enough. Without connection to the woman wearing it, even beautiful clothing began to feel superficial—almost soulless. Something important was missing.

Connection.

I realized I didn't want to simply create beautiful clothing.

I wanted to work directly with women.

I wanted to create a space where they could step away from the demands of everyday life and focus entirely on themselves.

A space that felt uplifting.

Supportive.

Creative.

Safe.

Joyful.

A place where they could learn, explore, play, and reconnect with themselves. Where they could feel seen and heard—without judgment.

That realization changed everything.

The View

Over the years, my work has taken me on a journey I never could have imagined when I first began designing clothing.

I began my career designing contemporary sportswear and sleepwear collections after working for San Francisco Bay Area companies including Wilkes Bashford, Jessica McClintock, Joe Boxer, and Byer of California. My collections were carried in boutiques and department stores throughout the United States.

Along the way, my sleepwear designs were selected for the Oscar Gift Bags, which led to opportunities to showcase my collections on ABC World News Now during the program's nationally televised Pajama Party broadcast and later on
The View.

Years later, after transitioning into personal styling, my work was featured in Forbes for my thoughtful approach to helping clients select meaningful gifts for the people they value most.

Looking back, I'm grateful for every chapter of the journey.

But what has always mattered most is something much simpler:

Helping people feel seen.

The goal was never simply to get dressed.
It was to feel like yourself again.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Why personal style matters?

Personal style is often dismissed as something superficial.

I believe it's anything but.

We all have to get dressed every day. The question is whether getting dressed feels like another task to figure out—or something that supports the life you want to live.

The clothing we choose each day influences far more than our appearance.

It shapes how we feel, how we carry ourselves, how we move through the world, and often, how we're perceived by others.

When your clothing reflects who you are, it becomes easier to show up with confidence, not because you're trying to impress anyone, but because you feel aligned with yourself.

That confidence has a way of influencing every part of your day. Conversations feel easier. Decisions become more effortless. You're able to focus on the people you're with, the work you're doing, or the moment you're experiencing, instead of wondering whether what you're wearing feels right.

You don't have to spend years trying to figure it out on your own. We all have different gifts. Just as I couldn't do what many of my clients do so brilliantly, they don't have to become experts in personal style.

That's where I come in. Together, we'll discover what already feels true to you, so getting dressed becomes less about figuring it out—and more about simply being yourself.

Because personal style isn't about perfection.

It's about feeling like yourself so you can spend less time thinking about your clothes—and more time living your life in them.

The experience

Many women come to me believing they're the problem.

They know something doesn't feel quite right when they get dressed, but they can't explain why. They blame their body, question their instincts, or assume they'll simply never feel confident in their clothing.

My role isn't to tell you what to wear. It's to help you understand why something works, so you can begin seeing yourself differently. Getting dressed becomes less about trying to fix yourself and more about celebrating who you already are.

When you begin to see how a different silhouette, proportion, or color brings out your natural beauty, something shifts. What once felt confusing suddenly makes sense. You're no longer focused on what's wrong, but on what feels right. Often, it's the smallest refinements that make the biggest difference. And when you see it for yourself, confidence naturally follows.

Those moments are some of the greatest joys of my work. Watching a woman recognize her own beauty, often in ways she hasn't seen before, never gets old.

Trusting Your Style

One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is permission to stop chasing someone else's idea of style.

Every season brings new trends, new must-haves, and new messages about what you should be wearing.

It can leave even the most confident woman wondering if she's falling behind.

I don't believe great style comes from constantly reinventing yourself.

I believe it comes from understanding yourself.

Fashion isn't the enemy, and neither are trends. They can be inspiring, playful, and sometimes exactly what your wardrobe needs. But they should always be an invitation— not an obligation.

If something genuinely resonates with you, embrace it.

If it doesn't, let it pass.

Many women think they're tired of their wardrobes when they're actually tired of wearing the same outfits over and over again. Often, it doesn't take an entirely new wardrobe to feel inspired again. Sometimes it's simply a matter of seeing familiar pieces in a new way or adding a few thoughtfully chosen pieces that bring fresh life to what you already own.

I believe in building on what you love—not replacing it.

When your wardrobe reflects who you are, getting dressed becomes more effortless.
You're no longer wondering if you're wearing the "right" thing or trying to keep up with everyone else.

Instead, you simply know.

If any of this resonates,
I'd be delighted to meet you.
